1. This is Scott Frost’s last season at Nebraska.
FACT. It’s over and it’s just a matter of time for Scott Frost. And think about this statement if you will — he could go down as one of the worst coaches in Nebraska history. No one would have thought that when he was hired but this has been a disaster overall. The loss to Illinois in the season opener is just another example of how this team has been flat, unprepared and lacking talent since Frost has taken over. This great fit has turned into a nightmare.

2. UCLA will challenge USC and Utah in the Pac-12 South.
FACT. Yes it was only Hawai'i but I liked what I saw from UCLA this past weekend and the Bruins have more weapons than I thought. The running game was solid, Dorian Thompson-Robinson continues to improve and this team played with passion, something that has been lacking in my estimation. The game against LSU this weekend will be a good one and the Bruins will challenge for the Pac-12 South.

3. UConn is the worst team in the FBS.
FACT. Randy Edsall and company had 637 days to prepare for Fresno State after opting out of the 2020 season and the Huskies got destroyed 45-0 – and it should have been a lot worse. The offense has zero chance of putting up any points and the defense has no chance being on the field all the time. Edsall’s first stint at UConn was great but this was a disastrous re-hire and if you want to make some money, bet against UConn and lay the points each week. The 27.5 the Huskies were getting in the Fresno State game was a gift.
